that’s kinda a difficult question. mostly because the answer is different for everyone. But from my personal experience, i became happy once I actually wanted things to change. I was just kinda done with sitting around doing nothing, ya know? I wanted to find happiness, but I realized I wasn’t doing anything to get there. So I changed my attitude. I literally told myself “you can’t do this anymore.” And I think that’s really important. instead of waiting around for things to get better, a lot of times, you need to take that step. I forced myself to do things I enjoy, besides sitting behind a computer all day. I even stepped outside of my comfort zone and decided to get a job. It was scary at first, but oh man it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I realized that scary is good sometimes. But anyway, If you convince yourself that you’re happy, you’ll actually believe it. And really quickly you’ll feel that you’re not just pretending to be. I don’t know if this helps at all, but I hope it kinda made sense. Instead of me just sitting here saying, “things will get better, I promise,” I’m here to tell you that they will, but you have to give yourself that little push first :)
